Greisen is a longtime resident of Bellingham, a retired RN, and author of an award-winning memoir, In Search of Pink Flamingos . She has been a Peace Corps volunteer (PCV) in Liberia from 1971-73 and in Tonga 1973-74. Susan Corbett resides in Colorado and was a PCV in Liberia from 1976-79. She is also a published author of In the Belly of the Elephant. She teaches ESL to adult immigrants. Karen E. Lange lives in Maryland and served as a PCV in Liberia in 1984-86. She later returned to Liberia as a journalist covering the turbulent times is Liberia.
