August 27 from 2 - 4 PM Join us for our first Plants and Pots Swap event of the year! This is a free community event that the Friends of the Conservatory will be hosting outside of the Volunteer Park Conservatory. Please bring pest-free cuttings to share and gift and any extra pots you have to giveaway and trade away. This will be a fun community event, an opportunity to meet new plant parent friends and to chat about the plants in our collections, to learn more from one another and to share in the community of Plant Parenthood. We will have volunteers and Friends of the Conservatory Board Members on site. We will be there to chat plants, about the Friends of the Conservatory and we will also be selling fundraising buttons, stickers and posters illustrated by the incredibly talented Erin Wallace, a local Seattle illustrator. The proceeds from these sales will benefit both the CCSS and the FOC. Please RSVP if you plan on attending so we can coordinate enough volunteers for this event.
