On this edition of Founder's Story, Rev 1 Ventures will host a breakfast with DASI Simulations's team who performs advanced individualized computational predictive modeling powered by artificial intelligence and computer vision to better plan for improved patient outcomes and reduced costs associated with Structural Heart Disease. Teri Sirset, M.S.| Founder, President & CEO Lakshmi Prasad Dasi, Ph.D. FACC| Founder & CTO Teri Sirset - Co-founder & CEO of DASI Simulations. She is a high-level sales executive with 25 years' senior management experience in Medical Device Sales and Marketing. Her most recent position was Vice President of Sales and New Business Development for a start-up company in the cardiovascular and neurovascular space. Teri has fund-raising (Angel Investment 5M), Quality Assurance, and FDA submission experience. She received a B.S. and M.S. from Ohio University and is currently participating in an Entrepreneurship Accelerated Program at the Wharton School of Business. Dr. Prasad Dasi Invented the technology for DASI Simulations and founded the company with Teri Sirset in 2019. Dr. Dasi is a leading bioengineer in the field of heart valve engineering with 16+ years of experience with an active and extensive publication record. Previously at The Ohio State University, he runs an independent research laboratory at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Professor of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Dasi has raised over $6M in federal funding for heart valve research.
