Indoor/Outdoor Cat Needs New Home

Description

My indoor/outdoor cat is in need of a new home. He's about 15 months old and is very friendly and affectionate with a big, bold personality. The problem is that he has an incredibly strong hunting instinct and as a result brings home multiple dead rodents (or pieces of them) on a daily basis. It's become an issue of hygiene and is more than I bargained for, so unfortunately he needs to go. He would make an excellent farm cat. If you are looking for a vermin control, he might be your guy. He is well behaved when indoors, although he is extremely verbal which can become challenging. He is litter trained and I've never had an issue with him making a mess inside. He is a curious little busy-body and occasionally gets into things, but he's not destructive and knows to use his scratching post instead of furniture. When inside the house, he shares space with an indoor-only cat and they get along great. He also got along with multiple cats and dogs at the foster home where I picked him up. He is fixed, up to date on all shots, and is treated monthly with Revolution to protect against fleas, ticks, and parasites. I have grown attached to this animal over the last 7 months, and need to make certain he is going to a good home. That being said, I will require a veterinarian reference. I may also ask for details on what his new living arrangements will be. There is no need for him to go immediately, so I can and will be selective as far as finding him a new home.
