HELP!! My family and I saw an urgent plea for an emergency foster in October of 2021 and we’ve been fostering Beau ever since, waiting for the forever home that he longs for and deserves. We’re devastated that our 2 foster dogs don’t get along with Beau, otherwise we’d adopt him in a second! We have had to keep the dogs separate, which has been very challenging. TO WORSEN MATTERS, we are moving and have to have a home for Beau within 2 weeks. Meet Beau! Beau is a 70lb neutered pit Bull mix. Not only is he stunningly handsome, he’s a survivor….. Beau was SHOT in the face and survived. The bullet is lodged in between one of his vertebrae, in a safe spot. The vet said by removing would be complicated and potentially dangerous. Beau is fully recovered and, has had all his oral surgeries, and is doing great! Beau is a couch potato and LOVES to cuddle. He is completely housebroken, enjoys car rides and does not chew or destroy anything except for his toys which he loves to remove squeakers from). Beau would be perfect for a single person or couple that doesn’t have other animals (or has one submissive female: the only type of dogs he seems to get along with). Beau likes children, but he is big and strong and would do best with teens and older. He loves to be the center of attention so he can get all the love and attention he deserves. Beau is reactive to other dogs, so walking can be a bit challenging (he has a loud bark). Having a fenced in yard would be a plus.
