Join us for the Official Movie Premiere of "FIREFLY: The Tay Fisher Story" featuring Kingston's own Tay Fisher. FIREFLY: The Tay Fisher Story This documentary feature-film by Nostrand Productions follows Tay Fisher from Kingston Tiger to Siena Saint, and all the way to the Harlem Globetrotters. Tay Fisher’s basketball and life journey is one of determination, inspiration, teamwork, and down right talent - developing into one of the top shooters in New York state. His sharp-shooting talents at Kingston High School took him to Siena College where he propelled the Saints to the MAAC championship and the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Tay went on to play 10 years on the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters as "Firefly" enthralling fans around the world with his "Curly" Neal-inspired one-of-kind dribbling style and infectiously positive attitude. Today, Tay shares the challenges and guidance of his never-give-up story on and off the court, by mentoring kids and hosting basketball programs in his community.
