Kreating Saturdays help children with and without disabilities discover their interests by offering a variety of activities that help them explore their creativity through a wide range of topics and activities from cooking, gardening, painting, woodwork and more! We believe that every child, no matter their diagnosis, deserves equal opportunities to discover, learn, and create their own identity. This months theme: Kreating and Accomplishing Goals- Discover your niche by joining us in a crafternoon full of wonder as we learn to set goals and accomplish them! Activities: 3D Art using recycled materials such as cardboard and newspaper. Use anything but a paintbrush to complete your canvas piece. Manipulate air dry clay using sculpting tools to create your own sculptures. Stay at one station or use them all! It's totally up to you! Objectives: Sensory Stimulation. Encourage creative thinking. Gain an early sense of creative expression. Set goals and think creatively to fulfill that ambition. Gain a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. Build relationships with peers and mentors. Registration Includes: activity supplies, lunch, snack, beverages, and adult supervision.
