Description

Authenticity in leadership may be difficult to grasp for today’s leaders and can carry a plethora of meanings. One of the most common connotations is dropping the facade and being unafraid to have open and tough conversations with a team, remaining true to professional values and not compromising for the sake of popularity or likes. At some point, leaders must stop being inconsistent with their values to keep the inconsistencies from becoming embedded into the organizations' cultural DNA. In this series, aspiring, new or existing leaders will learn to be more intentional about increasing organizational effectiveness and transforming into a leader that others want to follow. All “I’s” on Me: Initiating Organizational Change Imagine how challenging it would be to look through an obscured lens and attempt to persuade others to buy into a vision that isn’t clear. Similarly, leaders cannot sell a strong vision effectively if they don’t believe in themselves or if the vision is inconsistent with their own passions, values and the organizational culture they have created. It is the leader’s responsibility to demonstrate what they want repeated in their organization. The pursuits, goals and results of a leader are in constant competition with perfection. It is not necessary for the leader to dot every i, but to initiate the change they want to see in their organization. In this course, leaders will develop a greater awareness on how to lead with initiative and authenticity. Register for this course today!
