Tree Planting at Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran Church is a school as well as a religious institution. This church and it's green spaces are valued by the community and brings in many dedicated staff and residents. With financial support from the Morton Arboretum and in honor of their Centennial Year Celebration, we will be planting 15 trees at Trinity Lutheran Church to reduce heat islands and better manage water retention at this site. We will be meeting outside of the main entrance of the building. Here is the coordinate point. No experience is necessary! Volunteers will help us dig holes, plant trees, mulch, and water. Please bring a mask, long pants, closed toe shoes, a (full) water bottle and sunscreen. We will take care of everything else! Note that masks may need to be worn for the duration of the project.
