The Wild West Rodeo is an eventful activity that invites children ages 5-13 to participate with the assistance of a parnter in eight modified rodeo events. The activiteis are a reflecion of the real rodeo events, but are specifically patterned for children with exceptional situations (disabilities or special needs).
There will be plenty of eager partners and helpers to guide the children safely through the events. To alleviate congetions in the arena, all parents are asked to watch from the bleachers.
Upon arrival, go to the south-west door at the lower level of the Auditorium. There will be Y's Men stationed there to greet you, let you know where to go, and to assist you. Each child will receive an official t-shirt, bandana, lariat rope, cowboy hat, and rodeo number. Upon completion of the events, each child will receive a rodeo trophy and participation ribbon. Each child will also pose with his/her partner for a rodeo photo to be autographed for a special keepsake.
The smiles are unforgettable and the memroies are never ending! Join us in the Wild West fun! Registration deadline is Friday, September 16th. Participants must wear close toed shoes and have a liability waiver completed by a parent or guardian prior to participation in the event.
