We would like to invite you to attend a special luncheon we are hosting in Smith County at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 27th at 12:00pm. The luncheon will feature guest speakers from the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency, Mikel Miller and Samantha Sherrell. Speakers will present a Roadmap 2 Recovery for those with a background of substance use disorder and those looking to bring themselves out of poverty through new career pathways. Qualified participants will have access to a state-of-the-art accredited training facility instilling modern practices of workplace behaviors and flexible public transportation to get to and from work. The goal of this seminar is to show how a collective approach will prepare individuals for entry into your workforce and the resources that will be available to employers like you.
