The focus is to build a modular home from the ground up inside a warehouse. The Site Work and Masonry Phase, move into framing, plumbing, electric Insulation, drywall, flooring, finish work and appliances set up. Duties include the following but are not limited to; seal open sides of modular units to prepare them for shipment, using polyethylene sheets, nails, and hammers. Locate and repair frayed wiring, broken connections, or incorrect wiring, using ohmmeters, soldering irons, tape, and hand tools. Connect electrical systems to outside power sources and activate switches to test the operation of appliances and light fixtures. Refinish wood surfaces on cabinets, doors, moldings, and floors, using power sanders, putty, spray equipment, brushes, paints, or varnishes. Basic math knowledge is required. Bring your tape measurement and a hammer! Departments Available: • INTERIOR TRIM INSTALLER • FRAMING • SIDING • PAINTING/ABLE TO OPERATE PAINT SPRAYER PAY AND SCHEDULE FOR POSITION: Monday – Friday, 7:30/8:00am – 6/8-hour days (Day Shift) Staring at $17.00-18.00 an hour or more depending on experience Warehouse Construction – Starting at $16.00 - $20.00 an hour All Star Labor and Staffing is now hiring for a commercial mobile and modular construction company in the Aumsville, OR. area. Indoor controlled manufacturing environment and material staging, using the same materials and designing to the same codes and standards as traditional stick-built construction. Framing Assembly: As Framer and Assembler, you will support the assembly department by performing basic tasks. Measures and prepares materials for the assembly station. Ensures proper materials are in place for the assembly station crew. Six months to one year of experience in framing. Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic knowledge of roofing and construction tools. Cabinet Assistant: Will support the Cabinet Lead. Ensure proper materials are in place for the cabinet station. Reading and following written and/oral instruction given by the cabinet lead. Performing all various cabinet duties and installation including completion. Must be physically able to lift <60lbs, push, pull, maneuver, and carry items. Ceiling: Provide support to the Finish Dept. Measures and Prepares materials for the Ceiling Station. Ensures proper materials are in place for the Ceiling Station crew. Read and follows Written and oral instructions. Experience preferred but not required. Floor Assistant: Ensures proper materials are in place for the Floor Framing Station. Reading and following written and/oral instruction given by the station lead. Performing floor framing through completion. Must be physically able to lift <60lbs, push, pull, maneuver, and carry items. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach.
