Ashes To Omens, Parathion & Red Mile Road @ Southern Brewing Company - 231 Collins Industrial Blvd, Athens, GA Doors @ 7pm All ages welcome - $7 advance, $10 at the door 8pm: Red Mile Road is an Athens, Georgia, based hard rock band formed in late 2020. The band is comprised of dual lead guitar and dual lead vocals (Jack Wilson/Spencer Shaw), bass (Ben Maddux), and drums (Jake Kadet). The Red Mile Road sound is influenced heavily by the Seattle Grunge scene of the 90s and the classic Southern Rock of the 70s. Red Mile Road has cultivated a following through gigs at: Georgia Theatre, 40 Watt, Paloma Park, and other venues and private events. 9pm: Parathion is a death metal band hailing from Athens, Georgia, founded in 2019 by brothers Jackson and Jacob Whitmire. The members consist of Henry Heard on guitar, Chris Manning on vocals, Jackson Whitmire on guitar, and Jacob Whitmire on drums. 10pm: As of October, 2021, Ashes to Omens is proud to release their latest album, “Black Boxes”. This collection represents a further evolution in the bands sound, produced by none other than Georgia-based audiophile from Led Belly Studios, Matt Washburn. Led Belly has had a hand in producing iconic rock and metal albums from bands like Mastadon, Artemis Pyledriver, and Legion X and many more. The band went on a Mid-Atlantic tour to promote the album covering 12 cities and was a tremendous success, which included winning the 2021 Loganville Battle of the Bands. In early 2022 the band returned to their hometown to kick off another series of shows and started by debuting at the 2022 Athfest Festival for music and arts to an astounding reception. The band received critical acclaim locally as a result. Ashes to Omens promises to continue bringing gut-punching riffs, brain-bending performances, and crisp vocals chock full of that brooding, southern sound they’ve come to perfect. The band is certain its fans will find much to love about their next album and look forward to jumping alongside every one of them at upcoming shows. Vocals / James Branton, Guitar/ Nathan Grant, Guitar/ Will McCorkle, Bass / Chris Blake & Drums / Derek Johnson
