Did you ever wonder where that dirty water from your toilet, sink and bathtub goes? Wastewater from your homes and businesses is collected through sewer pipes and eventually makes its way to ALCOSAN’s treatment plant on the Pittsburgh’s Northside. On this tour, learn about wastewater collection, flow and treatment, and how we recycle that dirty water into clean water that’s deposited into the Ohio River. We can't wait to show you the important work we do to protect both public health and the water quality of our rivers and streams.
