Join us on Community Day on Saturday, September 17 for a horse-drawn carriage ride and Historic Easton Cemetery tour.
At one time there were so many horses in the cemetery people had to have an admission ticket. Too many vistors could spook the horses!
For Community Day (9/17) we invited Saucon Valley Carriage to bring their wagonette offering attendees an alternative Cemetery sightseeing experience. Your guide will provide historic fun facts, point out unique monuments and insight into some of our notable permanent residents.
Advanced tickets are suggested due to limited availability and to avoid potentially long wait times. Groups are limited to 6 passengers at a time. Allow 30 minutes. Tours are currently offfered every half hours between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. $10 per person.
The Historic Easton Cemetery was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The cemetery is noted for its design, architecture, landscaping and funerary art.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Historic Easton Cemetery for furthering our educational programming.
