Temp to hire position Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm $17.50/hr This position tests, calibrates, and repairs measuring and indicating instruments for conformance to established standards. Sets up equipment for tests and measures accuracy of instruments used to record rate of flow. Adjusts instruments to calibration standards. Has strong working knowledge and understanding of calibration process. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions: • Tests, calibrates, and repairs all general production measuring and indicating instruments for conformance to established standards. Requires minimal supervision. • Measures parts for conformity with specifications using precision measuring instruments. • Performs experiments or tests which may require nonstandard procedures and complex instrumentation. • Modifies standard equipment to meet special technical requirements. • Records, computes and analyzes test data. • Prepares reports and records on calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities. • Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and makes repairs as needed. • Observes and complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
