Basil is a 6 mo old yellow/fox red lab puppy needing to be rehomed. $150 rehoming fee to ensure new home can accommodate cost of large breed puppy. This fee is firm, do not message me with a lower offer. If you do the email will be deleted, and not responded to. Rehoming due to life imploding, nothing to do with Basil. She is a very smart, goofy, lovable pup. Training began at 8 weeks and a full list of current commands and behaviors taught can be provided. Name of trainer can also be provided. Not spayed yet as it is best to wait until 12-15 months. If you don't agree, you likely aren't the best fit. Shots are up to date, and insurance is currently held for her. All medical files, insurance company name and expected cost can be provided if interested. New home must have large yard. She needs a lot of space to run around. She loves chasing soccer balls, tennis balls, footballs. Another dog would be great for her but as long as you socialize her she can be happy as a solo dog. We do have cats and have started the introduction process and she does okay but still needs work in that area- if you have a cat you need to be prepared to finish that training with her. Basil will come with anything you can possibly need and has been crate trained. This has been essential to her health and happiness as a large puppy so I strongly suggest continuing this. It's important to know that labs are amazing dogs, but can be difficult puppies. Training began immediately because we were prepared for this- and you should be too. We are not trying to deter anyone, but be open and honest. We love her very much and want her to be set up for success. Home would have to be seen to ensure space is as mentioned.
