Riptide Station seeks assistance breaking into the Bay Area event industry, both private and corporate. We've done everything from weddings to office parties. We're a guitar duo that covers classic rock, Americana, etc. plus original music and can expand into a 4-piece with drums and bass. We're very professional, very experienced and play out 2-3 times per week in the Bay Area. Check out www.riptidestation.com. The Job: research and make contact with event planners, event spaces, caterers, DJ's etc. The ideal candidate: Experience in this industry Outgoing and loves to make phone calls Persistent and responsible This is likely a temporary process, over a month or so. You will probably not be responsible for ongoing contact and scheduling of actual performances, more the initial contacts to get our foot in the door.
