We are looking for an experienced and diligent hardscape crew leader to join our team. You must have experience installing paver patios, segmental retaining walls, and other hardscape features. A knowledge of ICPI standards is necessary. Additional experience with deck and fence construction is preferred. You will be responsible for managing a crew of one to two other people to complete projects in a timely and professional manner. You must have experience in safely operating construction equipment, such as a dump truck, a skid steer, mini skid steer, an excavator, a masonry saw, and other powered equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Installation of paver patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape features Safe operation of heavy equipment, trucks, skid steers Ability to read and scale landscape plan Maintain a safe work environment Effectively manage a crew of one to two others Good communication with customers, crew, and management Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, etc. Strong time-management and record-keeping skills Our firm also performs installation of plantings, lighting, drainage, and irrigation systems which we prefer experience in these landscaping specialties as well. Requirements and Qualifications High school degree or equivalent At least 18 years old Previous experience in hardscape construction Must know how to operate construction equipment, such as heavy trucks, skid steers, etc. Must pass background check and drug test Able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
