In order to get a search warrant, you have to demonstrate TO A JUDGE that you already have evidence, and you have good reason to believe that additional evidence can be found at the specific location you want to search.
Trump's "best people" had four years to present such a case to a judge (very possibly Trump-appointed), and they couldn't. And, with "Lock her up!" as a campaign slogan, they no doubt tried.
