>>>PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE RESPONDING<<< Three day gig. Event set up (approx. 2 hours on Fri.). Event breakdown on Sunday (approx. 2 hours). The rest of the 3 day gig is working as a sign holder advertising the event. This is not a hard gig. Follow simple instructions, work together as a team, get the job done, get paid in CASH on Sunday. Event location is Ft. Lauderdale National Guard Armory, 400 SW 24th Street (St. Rd. 84). This is a Gun Show. You will be on a US military installation for setup and breakdown. Friday 8/12, Saturday 8/13, Sunday 8/14 CASH PAY - $10 an hour (You will receive CASH on Sunday. Must work all 3 days.) HOURS ARE: Friday 10am - 7pm (9hrs) Saturday 8am - 5pm (9hrs) Sunday 9am - 6pm (9hrs) Sunday may run a little later, if so you will receive compensation for additional time. TOTAL- 27 HOURS JOB DESCRIPTION Report for work on time each day. You will assist with setting up tables inside the venue on Friday. This usually takes about 2 hours. (Tables weigh about 45 pounds.) You will then be transported to a location nearby where you will wave a sign advertising the event. You will be given verbal instructions on-site as to which way to face with the sign, taking breaks, etc. You will be picked up at the end of the day and transported back to the event venue. Saturday will be strictly sign holding. Sunday will be sign holding, then breakdown after the show closes. This is not a difficult gig. For the most part you will be holding a sign. Successful applicants may bring a small cooler with water, lunch, snacks, each day. You will need reliable, personal transportation to the venue. Shorts and t-shirt are acceptable attire.
