Description
Maintenance Staff Responsibility
• In Unit Repairs – Change toilet parts, back flush AC units (with training), change AC filters, adjust sliding glass doors
• Electrical Repairs – Change light bulbs, change outlets, change light switches, operate and adjust lighting and sprinkler systems timers
• Painting – Drywall repair, prime, and paint
• Equipment Maintenance – Follow instructions to help maintain pumps, motors, low voltage transformers, thermostats, heating elements, circuit breakers and ground fault breakers, pool pumps, filters, and emergency generator
• Plumbing – Trace water leaks to source, operate water extraction equipment, assist in repairing common plumbing elements
• Tool Usage – Skills around various saws, electric drills, basic hand tools, etc.
• Storm Related Tasks – Pre-storm property preparation and post storm clean up
• Equipment Rooms – Keep all maintenance rooms clean and operational
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Detail oriented and able to multitask. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Team mentality with the goal of group problem solving.
• Multitask with the ability to get back on task when distractions occur.
• Effectively communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
Full Time Hours:
• Monday – Friday 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM (30 minute lunch)
• On call once every 5th week for a 7-day period
Salary:
• $18-$20 per hour + earned overtime
