Do you have an obsession with cleanliness? DCS is seeking a highly motivated Rest Area Attendant to clean Rest Areas for travelers. This position is responsible for providing a neat, clean, and operational rest area facility for the traveling public. Ensure the facility maintains cleanliness and operational effectiveness as scheduled and necessary throughout shift. General janitorial and groundskeeping responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: keeping all walkways and pathways clean and free of debris; disinfecting and cleaning countertops, fixtures, mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, and windows; emptying garbage receptables; restocking consumable dispensers; maintaining the storage area clean, neat, and secure manner; maintaining a positive working relationship with co-workers, customers, subcontractors, security, and suppliers; and displaying a friendly, helpful and pleasant demeanor with travelling public. This position requires minimal supervision and exercises independent judgment. In addition, all DCS employees demonstrate a positive safety culture and produce quality workmanship by performing responsibilities in full compliance with all company and governing agency policies, procedures, and guidelines; and report and document any suspicious activity, incidents, work needs, and safety concerns.
