THE JOB: We are a fun loving interior design and home staging firm looking for a team player with a great work ethic to lead warehouse and delivery/installation functions. We are seeking an experienced Furniture Mover and Box Truck Driver (no CDL required) who can step up to manage staging and interior design installations 3-5 days per week. This lead will find, schedule and train (if needed) the additional part-time mover or movers used for each job. This position presents an opportunity to learn and grow in areas of interest (design, photography, management, etc.). Additional responsibilities include: • warehouse organization and maintenance • inventory system entry • minor furniture repair, cleaning inventory, and paint touch ups • Hanging artwork as directed by designers • Unpacking and organizing inventory and accessories when returned to the warehouse THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will be collaborative, energetic, handy, fun, punctual and willing to roll up their sleeves and do what is needed. They will also: • Be able to safely operate a 20’ +/- box truck • Perform truck inspections and inventory of moving equipment • Have the strength and stamina to lift heavy items (50+ lbs individually or 100+ in a team lift) repeatedly while maneuvering through tight spaces, up and down stairs, and in and out of a truck. Must know and use proper lifting technique. • Be able to pack a truck carefully and securely; wrap and move furniture in and out of staged homes without damage. • Be familiar with the operation of basic tools to repair, assemble or disassemble furniture. • Work efficiently to meet deadlines. • Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing, and have a basic grasp of using email. • Be professional, positive, friendly and have a good attitude with co-workers and clients. Applicants must: • Possess a valid WA Driver’s License & Clean DMV Record • Have a reliable source of transportation (to and from warehouse) and a phone. • Be COVID-19 vaccinated and willing to wear a mask. • Pass background check ABOUT US: We are an established home staging company and interior design firm providing services in the greater Seattle area.
