Hi there, I live in a large waterfront mid-century home on Burley lagoon, just 2 minutes off of highway 16 at the purdy exit. This is a tidal lagoon, when the tide goes out, one can walk all the way across viewing all kinds of interesting marine life. When the tide is in, it's no more than 5 ft deep and calm as it is well protected. I have two trimarans designed for the rental industry, they are completely untippable and very easy to sail. There's also a captain's gig for those who prefer a sloop or to row. There's also several kayaks to choose from. There's just under one acre of large grassy field with about a 4-ft high bulkhead at the sea, the grass is very flat and dry. There are no hookups, but RVs are welcome. Plenty of shellfish for free to be gathered within 10 feet, lots of interesting beachcombing, and some basic instruction is available if needed. Owner is a newly disabled adult male. Some assistance will be required to launch several of the boats. I'm on a very fixed income, kind of testing the waters to see if this is a potential fix. If you have your own boots or other toys, secure storage is available, even climate controlled. The yard is completely fenced with the exception of the beachfront, I have a large dog myself, but he has his own fenced yard. It's a very large house and there is a Spartan mother-in-law apartment if needed. We are less than 5 MI from quite a few state parks. I think this might be an ideal opportunity for City dwellers with apartments. Maybe you need a place to store your mountain bikes or canoes as a base of operations to explore the Olympic peninsula. Have secure storage so that your vacation weekend does not begin with the hassle of packing, we are even within a mile of a park and ride. I guess price would be dependent on length of stay, number of people, boats wanted, etc. Please just send me an email and I'm sure we can work something out. Thanks for your time.
