McGuire's Beautiful Outdoors offers residential and commercial lawn care, pool care, and irrigation services to Land O' Lakes and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for a handyman/garage assistant! *Valid insurable Florida Driver's License is Required!* Please do not send resumes as attachments, please send plain text only. We also offer health benefits including dental, paid time off, Holiday Pay, and a great team environment! Our Handyman/Shop Assistant positions reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities, requirements, duties, and details of this position include but are not limited to the following: *Demonstrate experience or willingness to learn and grow in the knowledge of both residential and commercial lawn care *Demonstrate a solid work history with evidence of a strong work ethic and initiative *Possess a valid Florida driver's license and qualify for coverage under our company auto policy (required) *Ability to demonstrate understanding of standard vehicle and small tool maintenance *Possess and maintain a physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned job tasks including: operation of light-duty equipment, lifting, pushing, pulling in excess of 50lbs, and walking yards of varying size for the duration of the workday *The ability to withstand varying weather conditions *The ability to interact professionally and courteously with both employees and customers *6+ months experience preferred in residential lawn maintenance (not required) *Bilingual, with Spanish is a plus! *Daily duties to include, but not limited to: -Delivery of small tools/equipment to Lawn Crew Members out in field -Pick up of equipment, tools, supplies from various providers -Basic sprinkler repair -Basic maintenance of vehicles, equipment, small tools, etc. Please call ahead and/or apply in person at: McGuire's Beautiful Outdoors, Inc. 5829 Ehren Cut Off Rd Land O'Lakes, FL 34639 Office hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (actual working hours may vary) *Please call our office at 813-996-7300 for any questions.* McGuire's Beautiful Outdoors, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
