CLIMATE CONTROLLED BRAND-NEW OFFICE SPACE: Starting at $20.50+ per hour Paid holidays Paid time-off Full-time M-F 800am-430pm Summary/Objective The Site Supervisor (SS) will oversee the daily working operations of the janitorial staff at our Newark location with a professional and positive attitude. Immediately addresses and alerts Operations Manager (OM) and/or Chief Operating Officer (COO) to any unsafe working conditions 3. Coordinate daily workflow and task to maintain a clean and welcoming, professional environment. 4. This position is responsible for all work associated with cleaning and maintaining of the interior of the assigned physical facility. 5. Supervise and motivate the janitorial staff to achieve and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility 6. Perform routine quality assurance checks on a routine basis and communicate the results to COO 7. Work alongside your team members to maintain clean facilities. 8. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning of hallways, stairways, elevators, break rooms, bathrooms and large office areas. 9. Duties will include, but are not limited to, dusting, mopping, sweeping vacuuming, scrubbing, refilling of bathroom supplies and removing trash from a climate controlled environment. 10. Delivery of prompt and courteous customer service 11. Completion and quality of work according to established guidelines and timelines 12. Communicate any staffing challenges to the OM in a timely manner Supervisory Responsibility This position is responsible for supervising all on-site janitorial staff. Work Environment The work environment is a climate controlled professional office space. The facility has a variety of spaces that will need to be routinely cleaned such as: lounge, offices, bathrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No weekend or holiday work. Required Education and Experience 1. Valid Driver's License. 2. High School Graduate 3. At least 2 years’ experience of excellent performance in a janitorial, custodian or housekeeping position with verifiable references Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must have reliable and consistent transportation. Must adhere to company dress code policy for safety reasons. All employees are expected to follow the attendance policy and report to work on time. Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable) Employee must be authorized to work in the United States. Employee must submit to a background check.
