Bremerton Housing Authority is introducing Ready to Rent! Ready to Rent is a 6-week renter’s education training that prepares attendees to successfully navigate and locate housing. This training will answer questions like: How do I get started?How do I cold-call listings?How do I start a conversation with a landlord?How do I fill out a rental application?Where do I look?If your #1 goal is to find a rental, R2R covers what can aid you in your search. One key component that R2R focuses on is building confidence through knowledge. This allows for you to learn about how to advocate for yourself in order to succeed. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the training to show to landlords as proof of your achievement! You should consider taking Ready to Rent if: You’re ready to create a plan of action in order to find housing You’d like some tips & tricks on searching for rental housing in Kitsap or Mason CountyYou’d like to to learn how to stand out from the crowd when applying for a rentalYou’d like to learn how to address past issues that may arise during rental screeningsYou’re interested in learning about renter’s rights and responsibilitiesDISCLAIMER: This is a 6-part weekly training every Thursday from 1pm - 3pm, beginning on September 15, 2022. The exact dates and times are September 15, 22 and 29, and October 6, 13, and 20. By registering today for the first training on September 15, you are reserving your spot for all 6 classes.
