Description

The Community Boating Program presents Haynes First Sail: This is a free introductory course specifically tailored for BIPOC, LGBTQIA and other underrepresented groups in the boating community. Given the visible gap in diversity, we want to be direct and intentional about increasing exposure to these groups. Event details are as follows: 11:45-12:00- Check-in 12:00-1:00- Social hour- Food, Learning Booths w/Games/Prizes, Community Engagement 1:00-3:00- Onshore and On the Water Instruction by licensed Coast Guard Captains using the US Sailing curriculum. We hope you are able to come out and learn to sail with us!
