The Hands & Harvest Festival is a county-wide event full of family fun. A great starting place is at the Highland County Courthouse at 165 West Main Street, Monterey where our Arts & Crafts Vendors and an information table will be set up. Enjoy a Harvest Trail with tours of farms and maple sugar camps for the tastes and sights of fall like freshly-cooked apple butter and freshly-pressed cider. Live entertainment includes The Original Rhondels and a Street Dance with the Little Switzerland Cloggers and Square Dance Callers Ellen and Eugene Ratcliffe. Shop unique, one-of-a-kind gifts from arts & crafts vendors, watch artist demonstrations, climb over 100 steps up the Sounding Knob Fire Tower for breathtaking views, pick your own pumpkins, be amazed by rocketry, and take part in so much more for the entire family!
