Join us for some fun as we celebrate the importance of Black Breastfeeding Week and learn about our efforts to diversify the lactation field! All are welcome! This is a free event but we do ask that you make a small donation to Paving the Way: Diversity in Lactation. (Learn more in the description under the Donation ticket option.) Children are more than welcome as the location has a beach, splash pad and playground. Please have someone watching your child(ren) if you allow them to participate in these activities. There will be giveaways and several local vendors so you can learn about the different birth workers in the area. Parking has been covered for non-New Haven residents. Let the parking attendant know that you are attending the breastfeeding event. Food will be available around 12 noon.
