25-26 pounds, 9 year old, all shots updated including rabies. Adopted from family whose elderly member recently passed away. They could not keep her because they had other dogs and she does not do well with other dogs. She prefers male owners and can be defiant and nippy with females, but is otherwise very sweet and protective and loves to be spoiled with affection. Is very much a lap dog and will cuddle on the couch all day if allowed, else loves her bed on the floor. Walks great in harness, does well on car drives, obeys basic commands, has one dry eye issue that we take care of with re-wetting drops daily. Will only bark to alert you when someone comes to the door. Seems fine with cat, have not exposed her to young children so not sure how she would handle it. Free to good home and person. We will do an interview. Comes with whatever we have for her... Bed, left over eye drops, food and water/food bowl etc. Prefer nearby areas of Bear Mountain, Fort Montgomery, Cold Spring, Garrison, New Windsor, Cornwall, North Rockland, Highland Mills or anywhere close to Highland Falls.
