Entry Requirements: - Must be 21+ to both play and spectate. ID will be checked at the door. - BYOB, no glass allowed. Any glass filled containers will not be permitted inside. - $25 per person to play. Players who register before Thursday, September 1st will receive a t-shirt as part of the entry fee. Things to know: - Any aspects of the game where players are required to drink will not be enforced. Players are encouraged to use discretion and drink responsibly. Any player deemed too intoxicated or behaving belligerently will be disqualified and asked to leave the property. - Check in will begin at 10am with first toss being at 11am. Tournament Rules: - Tournament style will be determined by the number of entrants. A preliminary bracket will be sent out leading up to the event and is subject to change up until first toss. - Play to 7, win by 2. Once game point is scored each member of the losing team gets rebuttal until they don't score any points (similar to beer pong rebuttal). - After 4 points are scored the teams switch sides. - Players may only catch and throw with one hand. - Players may not trap the dice against their body or another object in order to catch it. - Minimum height will be roughly 12', gentleman's rules on height calls ("get it up" = warning, "height" = dice is dead) - FIFA and reverse catches result in the thrower not being able to defend on the next toss. FIFA requires the adjacent partner to catch the die after first hit. If the die hits the defending side of the table after a FIFA or reverse catch attempt the die is considered alive and put back into play Alternative Rules and Discrepancies: - Any rules may be added or ignored as long as both teams agree to the terms. Games may not surpass a winning threshold of 11 points. - Any discrepancies in rulings will be decided by the event organizers if asked. We encourage teams to be respectful and work on a compromise before consulting the organizers.
