The Equip and Edify ConferenceJoin us for the 2022 Equip and Edify (E2) Conference on Saturday, October 1, 2022. The E2 conference is a joint conference organized by Redemption Church, Raleigh Road Baptist Church, and Christ Covenant Church. The E2 conference aims to help Christians and churches in Eastern NC be built up and encouraged for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11–16). This year, the Equip and Edify conference will be hosted by Christ Covenant Church located at 3124 Belmont Lake Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Registration is $10 per person, which will cover some free books and lunch. Children are welcome to attend, but keep in mind this will be a full day of worship and preaching. The Unbreakable Word of GodThe theme for the 2022 E2 conference is The Unbreakable Word of God. Jesus said in John 10:35 that “Scripture cannot be broken.” In the sermon on the mount, Jesus said that not an “iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished” (Mt 5:18). At the 2022 E2 conference, we will consider the doctrine of Scripture and its importance to the church and the Christian life. SpeakersJustin Deeter (Redemption Church) Jason Purdy (Christ Covenant Church) Tyler Campbell (Raleigh Road Baptist Church) Justin Nale (Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church) We will have four plenary sessions, featuring a message from each speaker on the authority, necessity, clarity, and sufficiency of Scripture. In addition, we will have two panel discussions. Our musical worship will be led by Chris Garnett and John Heim.
