Dear RSFGC Member,
We invite you and a guest (guests must be accompanied by a RSFGC member) to enjoy a farm-to-table, family-style dinner featuring produce harvested from Coastal Roots Farm and expertly prepared by chef Christina Ng. The menu includes the following:
Heirloom tomato and peach salad with basil gremolata, burrata cheese in balsamic vinaigretteRoasted garlic rosemary organic chickenHerbed cheddar polentaGreen beans and locally grown mushroomsFig blackberry upside down cakePaired wine and infused ice teaAttire is "farm festive" (comfortable clothing and shoes). You should bring a light sweater or jacket since the evenings can get a little chilly.
A little bit about our venue: Coastal Roots Farm is a nonprofit community farm and education center located in Encinitas on approximately 17 acres of land. The farm consists of vegetable production fields, education farm and gardens, a food forest, chickens, and compost operations. The RSFGC is proud to support their community mission by awarding the farm grants over the past few years.
Note: In accordance with current CDC Guidelines, wearing a mask is optional.
