The "Every Picture Tells a Story" film contest is an opportunity for filmmakers to meet and tell the story of one of our unique local artists. The past films have focused on either the artist's process, their style and body of work or a narrative film inspired by a unique piece of art. Originally the contest was limited to paintings, but over the years it has been expanded to include, sculptures, performing arts, photography and just about any art form you can imagine. This is an event to bring our creative communities together to showcase both the filmmakers vision and skills as well as the talents of the unique artists here in Kansas City.
