September 10, 2020 I began experimenting and creating candles that at the time were just an extension of my artwork , but months later I discovered that like my artwork, creating candles became a healing tool for me. In 2016, 3 years after losing both my parents I found my way back to art and it changed my life and those who were able to experience my artwork.
Launching Soy Bella is an extension of my artwork, decorating each candle with dried flowers and healing crystals, turning each candle into yet another beautiful canvas. For the past 2 years now(5 if you include my artwork) I have turned my living room and dining room area into my very own studio to create everything from mixed media paintings, custom coaster sets, soy candles, and natural skin/hair care products. Going back and forth from teaching art in the neighborhood after school program and pursuing my passion full time, I am finally ready to take the next step and one day have my very own brick and mortar!
You’ve probably seen me at weekly pop ups throughout the Kansas City area for the past 2 years, but for those of you who haven’t I’d like to take this opportunity to invite you all out to help me celebrate my 2 year anniversary, and learn more about the benefits of using Soya Bella products and Why I’ve been working so hard the last 23 months to bring my vision to life!
Hope to see you there !
