Description

You are formally invited to participate in the second of three North End Community Resource Center(NCRC) information and design sessions. The NCRC is an interdisciplinary collaborative project that positions socially engaged design at the core of comprehensive community planning and development; an effort that aims to prototype a community anchored design resource center. Our goal is to create a repository of research and best practices that showcase innovative methods in equitable development, to archive information, and host programs that strengthen the social, physical, and economic fabric of communities. Join us on Thursday, August 18th at Oakland Avenue Urban Farm from 6:00pm - 9:00pm for an open air planning and design session. Light food and refreshments will be provided by Stuffed Detroit and Ava's World Famous Cakes. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground level and help us create a true community designed and inspired space. This work is made possible by the Knight Foundation.
