Please join us for the 7th annual IBD Patient-to-Patient Education Project! This educational event is patient-centered, with topics chosen by IBD patients, talks given by patients and doctors, and lots of time built in for questions and discussions. This event will be our first in-person event since 2019. Several of the talks will be livestreamed as well, for those who cannot attend in person. The link to the livestream will be sent to those who register a few days before the event. This year's talks include: Immunosuppression and New Infections in IBD: from COVID to Monkeypox with Dr. Ryan Stidham and Tina OmprakashMental Health, IBD, and Pandemics with Dr. Jessica Naftaly and Jessica CaronThe Gut Microbiome, Immune System, and IBD with Dr. Shrinivas Bishu and Dan SharpNew Therapies in IBD: Upa, Risa, and Oza and Combination Therapies with Dr. Peter Higgins And many more!The full talk schedule is available here: (link coming soon) Logistics, Food, and COVID Precautions: This is our first in-person event since the pandemic. Out of an abundance of caution for our speakers, volunteers, and attendees, many of whom are immune-compromised, we will be taking the following precautions: Attendees must show a vaccination card to attendAttendees must wear a mask while indoors at the eventWe will be providing rapid COVID-19 tests at the door.
