Description
Join us for our second annual LifeRing Christian Ministries Domestic Violence Seminar! Our passion is to empower churches and individuals within the Anabaptist community to confront oppression, protect the oppressed, and disciple dysfunctional families to a state of godly maturity. If you have a desire to become more educated on domestic violence and its impact on individuals and churches, or if you are a victim looking for answers in your own situation, this event is for you. Attendees should come prepared to grow through the engaging topics and enriching fellowship. About the Speakers J. Anthony Hertzler has been married to Abigail for eleven years. They have fivhildren. The Hertzlers belong to a small house church that seeks to embody the Gospel of Jesus expressed in the Sermon on the Mount and lived by the earliest believers. They seek to build their lives around relationships with God and other people and to serve the oppressed and suffering both inside and outside the church. Anthony works in construction and edits and writes part-time. He served as a medical first responder and volunteer firefighter for seven years. Anthony has a passion to see Jesus exalted in his church. He dreams of seeing all churches well equipped to apply the Gospel to oppressive relationships with wisdom, justice, and mercy, reflecting God's heart toward victims and their oppressors.
