Join the community of 9th Street Market on August 20 from 6:00 -8:00 PM for the Our Market Stroll & Community Celebration! We look forward to sharing our newly installed light boxes and the progress with our (im)migrant vendor partners. Food and drinks provided by Casa Mexico, Mole Poblano, and Adelita restaurants. All are welcome! Free to attend! “Our Market” is a community-centered, multi-layered, multi-year public art project created and led by artist Michelle Angela Ortiz. The project supports (im)migrant vendors, business owners, and neighbors that work and reside in the 9th Street Market. “Nuestro mercado” es un proyecto de arte público centrado en la comunidad, de varios niveles y de varios años, creado y dirigido por la artista Michelle Angela Ortiz. El proyecto apoya a vendedores (in)migrantes, dueños de negocios y vecinos que trabajan y residen en el Mercado de la calle nueve. “Our Market” là một dự án nghệ thuật công cộng kéo dài nhiều năm, tập trung vào cộng đồng, do nghệ sĩ Michelle Angela Ortiz sáng tạo và dẫn dắt. Dự án hỗ trợ những người bán hàng nhập cư, chủ doanh nghiệp và người bán rong làm việc và cư trú tại Chợ đường số 9.
