Stop the Bleed started as a grassroots movement that was teaching individuals in all communities to respond to and aid in situations of all kinds where bleeding control can save a life. Now offered in conjunction with the Department of Defense Stop the Bleed has become a national campaign.
The average time in America for someone to bleed out is around 3 to 5 minutes and first responders responses can be as long as 8 to 11 minutes. With a major trauma event that includes bleeding, you or someone around you has the potential to bleed to death in that amount of time. By taking this course you can learn to be prepared and "Save a Life."
