Description
A few months ago, I rescued a group of parakeets from a neglectful situation. I already had a very large setup with a couple of my own budgies, so I was able to take these other babies in. After a period of quarantine and gradual introduction, 3 of the 4 that I took in did exceptionally well. This little one we named Hedwig, has not done as well with integration into the flock. Hedwig has shown agression towards all of the other birds, including former cage mates. We've tried different manners of integration, but nothing has seemed to work. I hate to see Hedwig having to be separated, though I have no choice. I'm hoping to find someone (or a family) who can give Hedwig a better environment to thrive with all the individual attention Hedgie deserves. This was not an easy decision to make, but I truly feel that it would be better for our little friend. Please only contact if you can give this little one a good life. Hedwig's been through enough already. Someone with experience with budgies will receive priority consideration.
I can offer a transport cage for a small fee, or you can bring your own cage and take Hedgie for free.
