Ok you were in the 60's a teen/early 20's Young adult. But that still doesn't change anything. At that time or up to your later teens you still had your fair share of whippings for doing wrong. Yes - no ???? You learned... In today's world not so much. Many choose to do time outs or the like thinking that's all that is needed. LOL sorry seen to many times where children have a time out and go right back to doing the same thing over. Didn't learn anything. Some parents are afraid of having DHS or police called on them. So who has control at this point? You have 8-9-10+ year olds talking back and saying I'll call the police or the like. What would you do ? Like I said kids are empowered And it's way to much and it's backfiring on us. Even shows in the other reply from the 30 something year old that was more concerned with a word misspelled than the subject at hand.
