WHO WE ARE: American Orthopedics is a privately-owned business in the Grandview are who has been providing prosthetic and orthotic services to Central Ohio since 1970. As a healthcare facility, our office and property must adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety at all times. WHO WE ARE SEEKING: A reliable, dedicated, self-starting “proud-of-my-work” Custodian who maintains high standards and will keep our facility CLEAN, SAFE, HEALTHY, and IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Keep us clean: mop, vacuum, empty wastebaskets, pick up parking lot trash, clean kitchen/bathroom, windows, load/unload dishwasher, break down boxes, load dumpster, etc. Keep us safe and healthy: provide essential wipe-downs and sanitizing throughout the day, especially in patient areas, on door handles and fixtures, etc. Keep us in good repair (preferred): light maintenance on building fixtures as needed, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains; also perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs as needed to ensure that the building is properly maintained and functional. Keep us "clicking": run errands for supplies/materials as needed (company vehicle available) and handle other duties as assigned to keep the company moving forward. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Self-starter who can prioritize and perform the above tasks with skill and efficiency Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (not often, but occasionally) People skills, good communication skills, and a “willing-to-help” team attitude Reliable and trustworthy WAGE AND BENEFITS: Competitive salary, individual health insurance reimbursement available (after 60 days), 401(k) with match, long/short term disability and term life insurance, holiday pay and paid time off. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (no evenings or weekends) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
