Description

Our program empowers children with communication, interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, creative thinking, critical thinking, self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, and self-control skill through the game of Chess. Empowered Education 501c3 offers a 9-week course designed for beginners to learn the basics of Chess. Class is one hour weekly, virtually with an individual instructor. All students will receive an instruction manual, a chess board, and play pieces. Students must provide their form of technology to attend each class.
