Hi everyone, I am looking to rehome my green parakeet, Little Pickles. He’s about a year and a half born April 2021. He’s tame, loves people, very fiesty and playful. He loves to play with his toy balls, fly around the house, and wrestle with his bell. He gives kisses and even says a few words (little pickles, pickly, pickly pear, and what are you doing). I’ve had him since he hatched but I can’t keep him anymore due to a move and new hectic work hours. It’s not fair to him to be alone all day. I am looking for a person who has prior bird experience and is looking for a pet that needs interaction and playtime. He had grown up around only people and loves attention from people, so I’d rather someone who doesn’t have any other pets or birds (as he could be hurt or injured). He is fully flighted but is happy to jump on your finger, nibble on your hair or beard, or sit on your shoulder and nibble your ears. He’s a sassy little bird with a lot of attitude. He might be a little shy at first while he gets accustomed to his new environment and person, but once he feels comfortable he’ll win over your heart.
