Meet Louie.
7 ½ mo. old German Shephard/ Husky Mix
He was born on Christmas day in NM, and he and his siblings were left in a box on the steps of a vet’s office in NM. At around 12 weeks old, they were sent to a rescue organization here in Phoenix. Our friend adopted his sister in May and asked us if we would take in Louie to get him out of the shelter. Due to a change in our family situation, (my elderly mother is coming to live with us in Sept) we need to find a loving home for Louie.
Louie is sweet, loving and really smart. He is:
• Housebroken
• Great with children (our grandsons are 3 & 5)
• Good with other dogs (he loves to play and has had 2 overnight stays with a pet sitter with other dogs and does fine)
• Up to date on all immunizations
• Neutered
• Microchipped
• Loves walks on the leash (needs a little more training)
• He loves to play fetch
• Great traveler in the car
It breaks our hearts to have to rehome this wonderful boy but are fearful that Mom (89 ½) will fall over him or his toys.
The ideal home for Louie would be a loving household with another dog or children.
We would provide you with his bed, food, immunization and neutering records, toys, leash, and food bowls.
Please share – you may have friends that would like to give Louie a new home.
Thank you.
