Position Title: General Laborer - Construction Wage: $20-$25/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30 Are you experienced in construction, general labor, carpentry, or willing and eager to learn? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment - Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required - Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge - Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws - Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools Requirements: - Carpentry or metal building experience preferred - Own transportation, work sites will be within 45 minutes of Madison: North, West, or East of Dane County - Familiarity with hand tools preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
