Kristen joined PAWS in December 2020. She takes her time to trust new people, but she has made a few friends since being in our care with the volunteers that she sees on a regular basis. She enjoys hanging out with her feline friends in the playroom, but is a little unsure of the new people as they reach out to pet her. Kristen would prefer a home without young kids or too many loud noises. If you are willing to give Kristen a little time to warm up to you and her new surroundings, she will make a great addition to your family!
For more information on our adoptions or to see Kristen's webpage, visit http://www.PawsOfHertfordCounty.org. Our process: If you are interested in Kristen or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/forms/. An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization.
All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
